I am offering anyone who is interested the chance to help me bless a child and their family at Seattle Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center.
I have been wanting to do something for Seattle Childrens but didn't know what. Then I was brainstorming and thought about scrapbooking. I decided to look at their website and see if they had a list of things that they needed. (Click here to see the Toy Program Wish List.) They did and one of the things listed was scrapbooking supplies. Actually it was the third thing mentioned. But then I wasn't sure how to implement it or what to do so I called my Creative Memories upline and she gave me the idea for making kits. She told me to mention this idea at Get Togethers, and I took it one step farther so that anyone who wishes can help bless children at Children's. I am putting together two kinds of kits as follows. One is a Paper Album Kit, one pen, and tape runner. This kit is $35.00 The other one is a PicFolio kit, it includes a PicFolio Minutes album, Everyday Photo Mats and Journaling Boxes paper, one sheet of Everyday Great Lengths stickers, one tape runner, and one pen. The cost for this kit is $48.50. Both kits will include a paper with ideas and Sheridan's/our story, depending on what child life will let us do. I am so excited about this because I know what it did for me to scrapbook Sheridan's pictures. It is not the best time of ones life to be in the hospital but if they have to be there they often need something to do. Maybe some of them will look at it as a recovery album or a progress album, the possibilities are endless. Will you help me bless a child and their family? You can contact me at

if you are interested!! When I have enough I will take them to the Hospital and donate them. I am hoping to take them in September and have 20 or more to donate of both kits. Thank you!! I felt grateful that children's could supply me with stuff to do! Whether it was stuff for scrapbooking, coloring, fuzzy posters, painting, playing games, or making friendship bracelets, they had everything! And they always could get it to me! I also enjoyed receiving the warm & soft fleece blankets! I'm glad that people donate stuff, because they make my hospital stay more comforting and fun!
